OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. — The Amateur Softball Association of America’s (ASA) National Championships continue over the Labor Day weekend with more than 50 National Championships being decided throughout the country.

Among the titles on the line over Labor Day are 14 in the ASA Hooters National Championship Series, which calumniates Oct. 1-4, at the ASA Hall of Fame Complex in Oklahoma City, Okla. Along with the HCS, Oklahoma City will also play host to the Men’s Class A Slow Pitch and Women’s Open Slow Pitch National Championships Oct. 1-4.

The host cities for the Labor Day weekend action are Dothan, Ala.; Montgomery, Ala.; Prescott, Ariz.; West Palm Beach, Fla.; Augusta, Ga.; Decatur, Ill.; Cedar Rapids, Iowa; Marshalltown, Iowa; Topeka, Kan.; Meridian, Miss.; Tupelo, Miss.; Rochester, Minn.; Liberty, Mo.; Springfield, Mo.; Hastings, Neb.; Farmington, N.M.; Burlington, N.C.; Columbus, Ohio; Lawton, Okla.; Portland, Ore.; Salem, Ore.; Killeen, Texas; Salem, Va.; and Fond du Lac, Wis.

The National Championship competitions that were scheduled for Oklahoma City were relocated to Burlington, N.C. The action was to include Men's Senior 50 Major Plus Slow Pitch; Men's Senior Class 60 Major Plus Slow Pitch; Men's Senior 65 Major Plus Slow Pitch; Men's Senior 55 Major Plus Slow Pitch; Men's Senior 60 Major Plus Slow Pitch; Men's Senior 65 Major Plus Slow Pitch; and Men's Senior 50 Major Plus Slow Pitch.

Spokane, Wash., also will not host competition this weekend as16 events in the Men’s Senior Slow Pitch Western National Championships were canceled. The events that were scheduled for Spokane included Men’s Senior 65-Over Major Slow Pitch; Senior 60 AAA Slow Pitch; and Senior 50 AA Slow Pitch.

Over 50 ASA National Champions have already been crowed this year in everything from the Women’s 23-Under Fast Pitch to the Girls’ 16 Under Slow Pitch to the Boys’ 10-Under Fast Pitch. In August, the 18-Under GOLD National Championship went to unbeaten Sorcerer Gold-Phil of Vallejo, Calif.
