One obstacle most coaches have to face is that the majority of youth athletes love to play in the games, but don’t necessary enjoy the training and practices that go along with that. The problem we as coaches consistently must overcome is how to continually keep mundane practices up-tempo, fulfilling, and challenging.
The tough part is that the training and practices are essential to success on the field, and young athletes may not always understand that fact.
