4th World Cup of Softball

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. --- The Amateur Softball Association announced that the 4th World Cup of Softball is tentatively scheduled for July 16-20, 2009 at ASA Don E. Porter Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City, OK. This world-class event will feature some of the best international softball team's in the world.

In 2007, over 30,000 fans attended the five-day event where the USA established its dominance with a 3-0 win over Japan in the championship game.

The first date of pre-sell and the price of World Cup Tickets has not yet been determined. but it is expected to follow the 2007 system which included the sale of all session tickets: All-session reserved seats, all-session grandstand reserved seats, and all-session general admission. Fans will also be able to purchase the Ultimate Fan Package which includes an all-session reserved seat in the premier section of the stadium, a personalized replica jersey and dinner with Team USA as well as an autograph session with the team.

A schedule for the World Cup and the members of the 2009 USA Softball Women's National Team of Softball will be released in early Spring 2009
